Lucchetto

Combining the closing system with the handle represents an innovative idea. The game of shapes and colours that combines business with pleasure turns out to be pleasant and not too childish. It is a very thoughtful mechanism that appears to be feasible and interesting – Comment by nidi-Battistella

Lucchetto is a playful handle composed of two different forms, which overlap and block the opening of doors and drawers. The opening happens by sliding or rotating one of the two forms, unlocking the composition. Contrasting finishes visually enhance the mechanism. The entire collection consists of five forms that can be combined together in various conformations.

In perfect Nidi style: a series of animals that were missing from the collection, created out of geometrical repeated shapes. The subjects, even if regular and simple, are nevertheless funny and effective. – Comment by nidi-Battistella

ZOO HANDLES: 5 handles thought for the kids.
The idea of representing the animal kingdom with five different animals was the starting concept: the dog, the deer, the toucan, the owl and the fish.
All the handles have inside a recurring element that unite them aesthetically, giving a sense of homogeneity to the collection.
The handles are entirely produced in different finishes of wood (elm, nature, ash-coloured and caramel), in order to give a stronger feeling of warmth these objects.

An exquisite stylisation of the butterfly, a pleasant shape that allows to create several composition and colour games. – Comment by nidi-Battistella

“Papilio” is a family of butterfly-handles inspired by children’s drawings.
Their rounded, minimal and abstract shape gives the objects a touch of irony and lightness.
All members of the family are different from each other, like in real life; six butterflies and six shapes.
The handles are made with sheets of aluminum, or laminated wood.

Eggies are strange creatures that represent the spirits of the nature living in the woods. They live in the imagination of children and now they materialised to help them open the drawers and protect them in the night when they are sleeping.
